occe ceramics class
Oregon City School District Community Education Program
Instructor James Mardon
Perhaps you have always been interested in working with clay but have never found the opportunity; perhaps you took a few classes in high school and haven’t picked it up since. In either case, your chance to try or to dive back in has arrived.
Join other adults as we hand build clay into something useful and creative. Together, we will build our skills, find a sense of accomplishment, heal our busy minds through art therapy, and develop a connection with others. Your instructor, James Mardon, has been helping both middle schoolers and adults to hone their skills and express their creativity for many years and knows exactly how to give you as much - or as little - guidance as you need! In this introductory course, you can expect to learn three basic clay building techniques (pinch, slab & coil), have conversations about nothing and everything, and produce several finished projects that are sure to leave you nodding in self-approval!
Cost: $200 per participant, 18+ & All Skill Levels Welcome!

Time: 6:00PM-8:00PM
