YMCA Invent It, Build It at Candy Lane Elementary
This YMCA class is located at Candy Lane Elementary School and will begin immediately after school is over. Students in grades kindergarten through 5th grade will have so much fun inventing and building.
Each day students will have a new design challenge to solve, some are just for fun and others tackle real-world problems. Students will design, test, and tweak their inventions while working through the scientific method. Sample challenges include a confetti launcher, a car that can be powered without a motor, or the classic egg drop challenge. The sky's the limit with a little creativity!
Classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting the week of April 9th. 4/09, 4/11, 4/16, 4/18, 4/23, 4/25, 4/30, 5/02, 5/07, 5/09, 5/14, 5/16.
Class dismissed at 3:30pm.
$266 per student (YMCA member discount available)

This YMCA class is located at John McLoughlin Elementary School and will begin immediately after school is over. Students in grades kindergarten through 5th grade will have so much fun inventing and building.

Refund Policy:
Complete refunds or credits are given if a class is canceled or unfilled. If you withdraw from a class, a full refund or credit will be given provided the request is made at least 7 working days prior to the first day of class. If a request for a refund has been made after the deadline no refund or credit will be issued. Some exceptions apply and are at the discretion of the Community Education Department. Most refunds are issued as a credit to the credit card on file or mailed. The refund process may take up to two weeks.
*Please note that some community education classes offer no refund. This will be noted in the class description.
