After the Bell
K-5 Afterschool Care
After the bell is located at each elementary school
every school day from dismissal until 6PM!
The Oregon City School District’s After the Bell Program (ATB) is an afterschool care & enrichment program for K-5th students. Our mission is to provide a high-quality after-school program that integrates the educational, emotional, physical, and social needs of the child. In doing this, we commit to respecting the diversity in children and families while honoring the rights and responsibilities of the family unit.
REGISTRATION REQUESTS FOR THE 25-26 SCHOOL YEAR WILL OPEN ON JUNE 2ND, 2025. Families who fill out the registration request form will be entered into a lottery system following that date. Families will be notified of their confirmed enrollment or waitlist status beginning Tuesday, July 1st, 2025.

After the Bell Installments
Payments are made between the 15th and 25th of each month from August - April. Payments made after the 25th include a late fee of $35.00. Account must be in good standing by the first of each month for your child to participate in After the Bell. For a visual guide on how to navigate the payment system CLICK HERE.

Fees & Enrollment Information:
Annual Enrollment fee: $95 per child nonrefundable
Enrollment is for the entire school year at the cost of $3300 which is broken into 10 equal installment payments of $330. Monthly installments are due on the 15th of each month August- May. Holidays and non-school days are accounted for in the fee. There are no credits or refunds. For additional information please review our Family Handbook.
FEE- $330 per installment
First installment is due August 25th. The last installment is due May 25th.
We are no longer offering part-time options. We understand you may not use all days of service. This model allows us to maintain staffing while providing families with access to care when they need it.
A Typical Day Includes:
Themed learning activities, play, stories, crafts, gym, and outdoor time.
Homework help is not a scheduled part of ATB, however, opportunities for students to independently do homework are provided daily. Screen time is limited and new friendships are encouraged.
Hours:
After the Bell operates on regular school days from school dismissal until 6:00 pm. ATB is not a drop-in program. Your child will be escorted from their classroom to the After the Bell location. Typically this means the cafeteria at their elementary school.
School Age Seasonal Camps & Non-School Day Camps
We offer non-school day camps and seasonal camps during the year at various locations, including the local elementary schools in OCSD, from 8am - 5pm. You do not have to utilize our After the Bell services to participate in these camp days. Camp cost is our daily rate of $80/student.
