    What is Preschool Promise?

Every child has remarkable potential to learn and succeed in school—the key is to start early!

Through a state grant, The OCSD Early Learning Center is now offering a free preschool program called Preschool Promise. Families with children 3 or 4 years old, who are at or below 200% of the federal poverty level may be eligible for this program.

A child’s learning during their preschool years is critical; it determines their kindergarten starting point. Students who enter kindergarten behind have a monumental undertaking to catch up with their classmates.  Preschool Promise can help your child be prepared!

Children in Preschool Promise classrooms will practice the social, emotional, and academic skills they need to be successful in Kindergarten and beyond!
