Oregon City Community Education’s envisions enrichment opportunities that elevate and empower every member of our community. One of our strategies to achieve this is to work with community partners to reduce barriers to access. Our partnership with Building Blocks 4 Kids helps us to provide scholarships for families that are experiencing financial hardships.

Typically, scholarships are available one time per year and the caregiver pays 40% of the total cost. 

Application Process

1. Reach out to us at 503-785-8035 ext 0 to discuss the sport or class your child wishes to participate.  We will provide you with the application after this phone call.

2. Complete the application and return it for review. The application can be exchanged through email, in-person, via mail, or through correspondence with your child’s attending school.

3. We will assist you with registering your child and will review your financial responsibilities with you. Once your application has been approved, you will be notified and we will apply the approved scholarship to the remaining balance. Processing typically only takes a few days.

   *Please note that your child will not be able to participate in the activity until full payment (including both scholarship & caregiver financial obligation).
